Teledirect is part of the WPP group, the world's largest communications group. We provide outsourced call-centre services to the largest multinationals in the finance, telecommunications and IT sectors. Our range of services include customer service, telesales and technical helpdesk. Our other offices in the region are located in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and the Phillipines.

Our call centre employs around 300 telemarketers and to aid our expansion, we are looking for individuals with initiative and drive to join our team in our Malaysian office.

Team Leaders
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

• Select, develop, train and motivate Telesales Executives to ensure the right people are delivering the required levels of performance.
• Team leadership and follow-up on team performance status to meet client’s demand.
• Work closely with peers and anticipate resource needs, set priorities and technology.
• Achieve customers’ expectations and ensure daily deliverables are met.
• Initiate changes and constantly looking for new ideas to improve work processes.
• Respond to clients on daily issues and actively measure the performance of the team.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Degree or equivalent in any field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Banking/Finance/Insurance Outbound Call Centre.
• Possess minimum 1 year of experience in managing Telesales teams.
• Outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills.
• Possess good communication skills both in written and oral communication.
• Demonstrate good leadership, coaching skills and ability to drive a team of Telesales agents to meet set targets.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge in Mandarin would be an advantage
• Required language(s): English.
• Preferred language(s): Chinese.
